To answer a frequently-asked question: no, participants do not have to use Blogger as a publishing tool. We love Blogger, but this is called a "blogathon" because of the type of site (and because it's darned catchy), not because of the name of a tool. On the list of participants there are Noahphiles, hand coders, and I think at least one that updates by telepathy. So however you do it, do it.

I've eliminated the minimums on the sponsorships. They were only there to prevent pranks, but all they did was create confusion and put up a barrier that I didn't really want. So they're outta here. Give what you can.

A couple of changes...you've probably noticed the green bar to the left. I'm incrementing whenever I get a chance. So far today we've pulled in over $500 in sponsorships! Also, I've added numbers to the participants list. It's just too hard for me to keep counting, so I'm letting the computer do it for me. 37 so far!
