Calling all graphic artists!

Every year, I design the site around a piece of art. In the past, these have been donated by friends. This year I thought it would be fun to see what thonners can come up with.

Guidelines: The theme is Blogathon, naturally. Run with it. You should have a high-res (at least 600 dpi) version available.

What you get: The site and 2006 merchandise will be designed around your art. You will get credit in the site footer (that's a link on every page) as well as a write-up on the Team page. If you would like to use that link to sell prints of your Blogathon or other artwork, this is cool.

How to submit: Upload your art somewhere, and send me a link. I'm frykitty on yahoo.

UPDATE: This could use a deadline, eh? Let's go for March 10. If that's too soon, but you would like to enter on the strength of your portfolio, contact me.

Green Blogathon

There have been a lot of other blogathons this year, big and small. Here's one that's certainly worth your attention: Shea at Musings of an Eco-Entrepreneur is organizing a Green Blogathon on February 24.

It's rather informal--keeping track of sponsors and getting the donations in is up to you, but it's a great concept. Best of luck and good blogging to all those green fund-raisers!
